Members of Canada's junior hockey team arriving at Toronto's Pearson International Airport today were greeted by cheers from supporters. The team won its fifth straight gold medal at the world junior hockey championship Monday night with a 5-1 win over Sweden. Forward Cody Hodgson joined the Gameplan to review the team's success.
McCabe Excited About Return

It was a relaxed, smiling Bryan McCabe that greeted yours truly when he walked into the Air Canada Centre Monday morning for practice with the Florida Panthers. That’s what escaping a hockey-crazed market after eight years will do for a guy.
Philadelphia Phillies reliever J.C. Romero and New York Yankees minor league pitcher Sergio Mitre have been suspended for the first 50 games of next season after testing positive for a banned substance. The suspensions were announced Tuesday by Major League Baseball.
