The guys then welcome guest Pete Martin, Argos colour analyst, who continues the discussion on this devastating loss for Toronto. And of course, what football show would be complete without a Brett Favre update? Shaun Powell, a sports columnist for New York's Newsday, talks to Mike and Chris about the veteran's recent decision to join the New York Jets.

On this edition: Mike and Chris start off the month of August giving tribute to former CFLer and broadcaster Leif Pettersen, who passed away earlier this week at the young age of 57. The hot topic is injuries, and the guys discuss Jason Tucker's season ending vertebrae damage among other unfortunate accidents this season, and how they are affecting the teams. Next, Brendan Taman drops by to preview tonight's Winnipeg-Toronto game at the Rogers Centre and talk about the return of Milt Stegall. He is followed by Vic Carucci of nfl.com, who updates us on the Green Bay Packers/Brett Favre soap opera, and the state of the Redskins. In the third segment, Mike and Chris continue previewing tonight's Argo game.

On this edition: After another Argos loss in Edmonton last night, Roger (in for Mike Hogan) and Shultzy discuss the facts: despite the good moves during the offseason, the team does not look as competent as last year. The guys also talk about the Kerry Joseph and Michael Bishop situation, which Roger labels as "wonky". Then the guys are joined by their first guest, former QB and Ticats coaching consultant Danny McManus, who reflects on their win over the Argos last week, evaluates Ticat receivers, previews their upcoming game with Saskatchewan and talks about how great the Hamilton fans are. Later, Blue Bombers GM Brendan Taman previews their next game against the Lions, and talks about the importance of winning their home games and the absense of Milt Stegall.

Argo offensive guard Taylor Robertson, who hasn't had much sleep as a result of the loss, drops by to continue the discussion about what really happened last night and reviewing the game film. RDS broadcaster Pierre Vercheval calls in to chat with his former teammate - Shultzy - and talks about what Alouettes head coach Marc Trestman brings to the team. Finally, the guys reflect on Chris' Dallas Cowboys days.

On this edition: Mike and Chris discuss Hamilton's opening game loss to Montreal, and whether or not there is a chance the Ticats will make it to the "Promised Land". Football Fridays host Mike Hogan, currently in Winnipeg for tonight's Argos Blue Bombers season opener, calls in to preview the match up and explain the differences between each team this year as opposed to last. Later, Bob O'Billovich talks about last night's Ticat loss, and how Casey Printers is fitting in for his first full season in Hamilton.  

On this edition: The season premiere of Football Fridays! Mike O'Shea, linebacker of the Toronto Argonauts, came on to discuss Rich Stubler's job as the new head coach, and the LB's off season work out regime. Later, Bill O'Billovich, the GM of the Hamiltom Ticats, joins Hogie and Shultz to chat about the Tiger-Cat's hot pre-season start, their young prospects, and the development of Casey Printers.
